Ron Dunn has served as the music director at Friendship Baptist Church since 2019. Having served in other music ministries eight additional years prior to FBC, he is seasoned in his calling and has a genuine love for music. Other ministries of note are Ron's ordination as a deacon since 1986, over 30 years as a Sunday School teacher, and his leadership on building committees.

As a retired Charlotte Fire Captain and EMS responder, Ron is no stranger to serving others as a layman. His additional distinction as a business owner for over 30 years also speaks to his ambition and commitment service to his family.
Married to Lisa Dunn for 41 years, Ron is Father to Drew & Lauren, Grandfather to Lauren's son Christian, and his daughter-in-law Katie is expecting another of Ron's grandchildren early this coming year!

Ron has also maintained a passion for learning. In 2005, Ron received his BS in Business from Liberty University. He didn't stop there, as he has also accomplished course work in Theology and Biblical Studies.

In his personal life, Ron enjoys a life-long love of the outdoors and all things athletic, especially golf.
